Offices where people feel connected with their co-workers are typically more productive than those when people come in, do their job, and leave. When people feel as if they have friends and a support system at work, they are more willing to come in early and stay late. An HR professional can to ensure that teambuilding activities are a part of company culture.

When employees feel like a valuable part of the company, they can serve as powerful recruiters and mentors for potential new hires. A strong HR department can ensure that the morale within that organization stays high, thus making this possible.
